EOEP Youth Scholarship

Youth Scholarship – EOEP Scholarship gives a direct financial contribution to high school students residing in the communities in which EOEP is operating.  Parents are encouraged to make sure their children are taking this opportunity and use the fund toward their children's educational development.  

Student must be a current resident of the State of New York communities in which EOEP has properties and providing services to the citizens.  Also, student must be a senior in high school with excellent academic performance.  Applicant must be accepted in a four year college or university.

The EOEP Scholarship application is available online during a designated scholarship application period; generally April 1st through May 31st each year. And/or you can request a hard copy to be mailed to you as well.  The scholarship selection process begins with a thorough review of all applicants by a trained team. The EOEP Scholarship announces its new scholarship the second week of June of each year, and scholarship is given in June.  Below is the Student's Scholarship Application Package.

Two $1,000 Scholarships will be awarded to two senior high school students.  Student must be a current resident of the community in which EOEP is operating.  Also, student must be a senior in high school with excellent academic performance.

Applicant must be accepted in a four year college or university.

The complete package must be received by 12:00 pm on May 31th of each year and must include each of the following:

  • Student Application.
  • Two Letters of Recommendation.
  • Essay.
  • School Transcript; documentation of GED Completion (if applicable).

INCOMPLETE AND LATE PACKAGES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

HOW SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ARE CHOSEN?

  • Grade point average 3.0 or higher.
  • Quality of essay.
  • Two letters of recommendation – are required.
  • Review and selection by the EOEP Committee.

IF YOU ARE SELECTED TO RECEIVE A SCHOLARSHIP

  • You will be notified by the second week of June.
  • You must sign a promissory note to show proof of enrollment in an accredited institution by the fall term of the school year, and provide documentation of such enrollment no later than June 30th of the year. If not, you will return the scholarship check to EOEP and, if possible, it will be awarded to an alternate recipient.

EOEP Internship Opportunity Information

Summary/Objective:

El Olam's Exquisite Properties is looking for Office Assistant/Property Management Intern.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general office support.
  • Assists with Administrative functions such as scanning, faxing, filing, making copies, etc.
  • Working with computer spreadsheets and databases.
  • Basic reporting and analysis involving financial information.
  • Data Entry.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Personable, polished, outgoing personality and demeanor.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Interest in Property Management.

Job Types:

  • Full-time, Part-time, and Temporary.
  • Unpaid Internship.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Expected hours:

12 to 20 hours per week

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule.
  • 8 hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday.

Bay Shore is a hamlet in the Town of Islip, New York. It is situated on the South Shore of Long Island, adjoining the Great South Bay. Bay Shore is less than 50 miles from New York City.

Bay Shore is one of the older hamlets on Long Island. Sagtikos Manor, located in West Bay Shore, was built around 1697. It was used as a British armed forces headquarters, at the time of the Battle of Long Island during the Revolutionary War. President Washington stayed at the Sagtikos Manor during his tour of Long Island in 1790.


Garden City is a village located in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York.

The incorporated Village of Garden City is primarily located within the Town of Hempstead, with the exception being a small area at the northern tip of the village located within the Town of North Hempstead. It is the Greater Garden City area's anchor community.

Garden City is located less than 28 miles from New York City.


Stephentown is a town in Rensselaer County, New York. The population was 2,791 at the 2020 census. The town, which was originally Jericho Hallow in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, was renamed for Stephen Van Rensselaer. The town is located in the southeastern corner of the county, and has a sign proclaiming it to be the only Stephentown on Earth. Stephentown is only 150 miles from New York City.
